1. About us
forgedesignmedia.com is operated by FORGEDESIGN MEDIA LTD, a company registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria under RC 8989830, of Mansard Place, Bishop Aboyade Cole Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria. Our email is info@forgedesignmedia.com.
These Terms apply to your use of this website and to the services we provide. They should be read together with our Refund & Cancellation Policy, our Delivery & Service Policy and our Privacy Policy.
2. Two ways to buy
- Fixed-scope packages (Brand Starter Kit, Logo + Social Media Kit, Logo Animation, Social Media Template Pack, YouTube Brand Kit). Each product page states the deliverables, timeline, revisions and price. You pay in full at checkout. A contract is formed when we confirm your order by email.
- Custom projects (Complete Brand Identity, Business Website Design, Product Packaging Design, Pitch Deck Design, Content Retainer). These are quote-based:
- You send a request through our quote form.
- We discuss your needs with you.
- We send a written proposal setting out the scope, deliverables, timeline, revisions, price and payment milestones.
- The contract is formed when you accept the proposal or sign the service agreement, and pay the deposit. If the proposal and these Terms conflict, the proposal prevails.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars. Other currencies shown on the site are approximate conversions; you are charged in the currency displayed at checkout. Payment is processed securely by the payment provider shown at checkout. Custom projects are invoiced as set out in the proposal (normally a 50% deposit before work starts and the balance before final files are released). Retainers are billed monthly in advance.
4. Your responsibilities
You must:
- send us accurate briefs and content on time (if you are late, the timeline moves back by the same amount);
- own or be licensed to use any material you give us;
- check proofs carefully, because once you approve the final files you accept responsibility for spelling, contact details and other content.
5. Delivery and revisions
All deliverables are digital. Timelines, delivery methods and revision rounds are explained in our Delivery & Service Policy and on each product page or proposal.
6. Intellectual property
Once we receive full payment, we assign to you the copyright in the final approved deliverables, except for:
- third-party assets such as fonts, stock images and templates, which stay under their own licences;
- unused concepts and our working files, which remain ours unless the proposal says otherwise.
Until full payment is received, the deliverables remain our property. We may show completed work in our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to.
7. Cancellations and refunds
See our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 (FCCPA).
8. Liability
We provide our services with reasonable skill and care. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order or project is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Nigerian law.
9. Website use
You must not misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, or copy its content for commercial purposes without our permission.
10. Disputes and governing law
Please contact us first; we aim to resolve complaints within 14 days. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction, without affecting your right to complain to the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. The version in force when you place an order or accept a proposal applies to that order.
